Fab Food Feb : Beef Stroggie

This recipe is one that we use on a pretty regular basis. We pretty much know the recipe by heart and only have to pick up a few things at the grocery store to make this meal happened. It is really quick to make which is helpful when you have a baby crawling around everywhere.

Ingredients:
12 ounce package of egg noodles
6 ounces of mushrooms, sliced (I think we use more though because we love mushrooms!)
1/4 cup of butter
2 pounds of ground beef
One cup of sour cream
Worcester, salt and pepper to taste

First cook the noodles to package directions and drain. While the noodles are cooking, cook the mushrooms in 2 tablespoons of butter, until soft. Remove from pan and set aside.

Melt the remaining butter and cook the ground beef until browned. Add the mushrooms back in and stir in the sour cream. Season to taste and serve over at noodles.
